History of Christmas Tree

Queen Victoria of England married Prince Albert from Germany, and then the couple moved back Britain to raise their family. During festival time, as per the German traditions the prince decorated a tree and since then, people in England have been doing so year after year. There are several pagan origins related to tree as well. Martin Luther King is credited to introducing, illuminated lights on trees.

The good thing about Artificial Christmas Tree is, that most of them are made out of hundred percent recycled plastic. Some of the other materials, used for making the trees include aluminum, fiber optic and wood, among other things. Like the natural trees, the artificial trees were also developed in Germany during the 19th century. Initially, the trees were made out of goose feathers and dyed in green color.
